In addition to full day programmes, 1/2 day options (usually pm) are available which some schools find easier to timetable KS3 and KS4 leaflet . If you can't find what you are looking for then please contact us to discuss individual needs.

Courses provide field & lab work to support a range of biology, additional & additional applied GCSEs (AQA, Edexcel, OCR 21st and BTEC).

KS3 and KS4 Geography - Sustainability and farming options explore food miles, biodiversity and wildlife, water, energy, waste. Compare conventional and intensive farming systems and investigate diversification. Try out soil testing, mapping, decision making & visit the livestock barns to see and touch piglets and calves and have a go at milking too! Tailored courses support a range of GCSEs e.g. GCSE Edexcel Spec A: Farming and Countryside Unit.

1/2 day options and short courses (top)

Our 1/2 day options give schools greater flexibility. Some local schools are able to plan visits to fit around normal lesson times reducing supply/cover costs in school.

1/2 day options can also be 'mix and matched' to create full day programmes or short courses to motivate pupils and enrich the curriculum. If you are looking to to develop your curriculum, give us a call and see how a course at Sparsholt could help you.
